• WHO: Association Members in good standing, their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren are eligible to apply.
• WHAT: merit-based financial grants toward tuition, fees, and course-related expenses (excluding room & board).
• WHERE: any accredited post-secondary educational institution (community college, tech/trade school, four-year college, or grad school).
• WHEN: beginning Dec 2024 for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
• HOW: charitable contributions to the 28th FARA, a 501c(3) non-profit corporation. We anticipate being able to award THREE $1000 scholarship grants for the 2025-2026 academic year in the Spring of 2025.
How do I apply? Download and complete an Application Packet Request Form from the website and email it to scholarship@28FARA.org or send it by mail to 28th FARA Scholarship, 104 Lee St, Stewartstown, PA 17363. The submission deadline for all completed applications is March 15, 2025, so don’t delay!
Do I have to be a member to apply? The applicant must be a member of the 28th FARA or a member’s spouse or child/grandchild/great-grandchild. To join, go to https://www.28fara.org/Membership/Join.html.
I don’t need a scholarship, but I’d like to support the program by donating. That’s outstanding! If you would like to donate funds in any amount, or refer us to a possible corporate donor, contact President@28fara.org. Because the 28th FARA is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation, donations may be tax-deductible to the donor, depending on
their individual tax situation.
