Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, we are able to award three scholarship grants of $1000 for the 2024-25 academic year.  The awardees are Leah Beach, Dru Rosario, and Kimora Lewis.

Leah is the daughter of Dwight Beach, who served in the battalion from 1984-87 as A Btry FDO & XO and as Bn S-2.  She is a sophomore at the University of Chicago and is majoring in molecular engineering.

Dru is the daughter of Miguel Rosario, who served from 1986-88 as a cannon crewman in C Btry.  She is studying digital media at Tulsa Community College and will graduate in Dec 2025.

Kimora is the granddaughter of Otha Toliver, who served in C Btry as Commo Chief and Support Platoon Sergeant from 1987-91.  She is a senior at Manhattan High School in Manhattan, KS, and plans to pursue a degree in psychology.

All three students are recognized for excellence in academic and extra-curricular achievement.  We hope these grants will enable them to achieve their goals in higher education and service to their communities, and we wish them success in their studies.

The scholarship program for the 2025-26 academic year will open in December 2024.  Association members in good standing and their spouses, children, and grandchildren are eligible and encouraged to apply.  Please watch for announcements or visit this page in early December for application instructions.
