- WHO: Association Members in good standing, their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are eligible to apply.
- WHAT: Merit-based financial grants toward tuition, fees, and course-related expenses (excluding room & board).
- WHERE: Any accredited post-secondary educational institution (community college, tech/trade school, four-year college, or grad school).
- WHEN: Beginning Dec 2023 for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
- HOW: Charitable contributions to the 28th FARA, a 501c(3) non-profit corporation. We anticipate being able to award two $1000 scholarship grants for the 2024-2025 academic year in the Spring of 2024.
How do I apply? Download and complete an Application Packet Request Form and email it to scholarship@28fara.org, or send it by mail to 28th FARA Scholarship, 104 Lee St, Stewartstown, PA 17363. The submission deadline for all completed applications is March 15, 2024, so don’t delay!
Do I have to be a member to apply? The applicant must be a member of the 28th FARA, or a member’s spouse or child/grandchild/great-grandchild. To join, go here.
I don’t need a scholarship, but I’d like to support the program by donating. That’s outstanding! If you would like to donate funds in any amount, or refer us to a possible corporate donor, contact President@28fara.org. Because the 28th FARA is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation, donations may be tax-deductible to the donor, depending on their individual tax situation.
