The powerful sound of a bugler playing “Taps” is a call to remember those who gave their lives in the service of the United States.
The Association has put togehter Taps information for veterans (and their families) in the event that a 28th Field Artillery Regiment veteran has passed. The Veterans Administration provides many benefits and services for deceased veterans (not just those in the 28th Field Artillery Regiment). Contact information for our association is also provided so that we can assist families and help pay our respects to those who are no longer with us.
You will also find the Taps Checklist. The checklist has all the pertinent information needed to insure your last wishes are respected and allows us to assist your family as specified. Please fill out and send a copy to the Board members listed so that in the event of your untimely passing, we can assist your family as necessary.
